DescriptionDish of oval form with wavy body and irregular edge. The inside with molded strawberries and leaves trailing across surface. The back with potting marks. The foot ring thin, irregular, and applied as a rough oval to the underside. The ring much damaged. Decorated in tortoiseshell colors: the white-gray body with brown sponging on a lemon ground to the underside; the leaves in green, berries in ochre, and interstices with brown wash. The area inside the ring is unevenly wiped of glaze, and the area with several firing cracks.Inscribedno
