DescriptionFigure of a seated cat, head turned half left, holding in his mouth the long tail of a mouse (of brown clay) which sits on the cat's forehead; face and inside of ears of white clay, the face slightly blued and ears strongly blued with cobalt; the rest of the body of dark brown and white clays kneaded together and cut to form vein-like stripes, some stripes more thoroughly blended than others; 7 large cobalt spots on left side.ca. 1745
