Publish'd as the Act Direct. / 240."Label TextThe counsellor and his client sit facing one another across a small table. The lady wears a high pyramid hairstyle in the macaroni manner. It is decorated with pearls or beads and a high lace cap with ribbons and lace lappets. The knees of the two touch under the table and his foot is pressed against hers. He wears a legal tie-wig and gown. On the wall reflecting the scene below is a picture of two monkeys on either side of a tea table, also drinking tea.
