DescriptionEnvelope-shaped pocketbook of brown wool lined with blue printed cotton. The outside of the pocket is embroidery with two birds and three tear-drop-shaped flowers on the back and the flap, and a basket motif on the front. The embroidery is in shades of yellow, orange, blue, green, and red. The blue cotton lining is printed with a sprigged design of four pink ovals over three brown leaves. The interior of the pocketbook is separated into two sections with a partition in the center running width-wise. The whole is bound in yellow twill-weave tape, with the same tape used as the securing ribbon.MarkingsNo marks or inscriptions.
