DescriptionSmall oval box painted with stylized buildings and tress in orange, blue, green, and black. Piece of Poughkeepsie area, late 1813 newspaper inside box.
CONSTRUCTION: Lid and box sides are wrapped around top and bottom of box respectively and glued to themselves and to the edges of the top and bottom.
InscribedMonogram "ABB" in script painted (or in ink) on underside of top.
