Label TextAaron and John Trip were tea grocers who had a shop in the Strand in London from at least the 1770s. The two brothers are shown carefully weighing their wares in scales at a counter. The selves behind them hold canisters labeled with the names of different kinds of tea. The Trim brothers were known for their customer service, earning them the title “The polite Grocers of the Strand.”
