DescriptionWax portrait of a young womanInscribedOn the wooden backboard, in modern-looking, forward-slanting, mostly block-style lettering, in black paint, is: "Gosset/Fecet/Anno 1751/M_[rs.?] Hume/AETATIS 16". Crudely incised into the wooden backboard is "1-1814", the meaning of which is undetermined.

MarkingsA modern. circular label affixed to the wooden backboard is imprinted with the words "Geoffrey Hutchinson" with, in freehand, "L/50" in the middle.
