DescriptionDressing glass and stand with shaped crest surmounting rectangular molded frame; rectangular supports, with shaped back edge at bottom, attached to frame with brass screws, and to lower case section with tenons; rectangular lower section with plain top and edges; two drawers in front, each one outlined with an incised line around edge and centered with a shield-shaped bail pull (probably not original); four ogee bracket feet.Woods: Dressing glass frame is mahogany and mahogany veneer on white pine with white pine backboard and yellow pine support in back of crest; case is mahogany veneer on white pine with drawer sides and back of oak and drawer bottoms of pine.
Inscribed"No. 6" and "C. Wilson" and several unreadable marks, all in pencil on inside back of left hand drawer (probably 19th-century); Nos. "3" and "4" written in ink on each drawer respectively and on the matching drawer compartment (probably 18th-century).
