DescriptionPewter pap boat: oval body with rounded base, slightly sloping side, and an everted pouring lip at one endLabel TextPap boats were useful vessels for feeding and administering medicine to the very young and the infirm. Early examples are vastly more common in silver than in pewter. Most pewter pap boats date to the first half of the twentieth century.
MarkingsIndistinct touch mark incorporating, in part, "T?Co " within a shaped oblong reserve within body in center. Secondary mark a quality "X" with crown above touch mark.
