DescriptionAppearance - rectangular top with bead and ogee molding on all four sides; single, full width locking drawer with molded lip; straight, shallow skirt on all four sides; four cabriole legs with pad feet supported on high discs; ogee knee blocks flank each leg, including the back side.

Construction - all elements of walnut except as noted; two-board edge-glued top secured to frame with screws through diagonal screw-wells in rear rail and yellow pine inner side rails; original knee blocks glued and nailed to legs and rails; (all existing drawer support construction is modern).
ProvenanceInherited by source from her aunt, Miss Mary Wall Christian of Williamsburg. Table was believed by Miss Christian to have been in her family in Williamsburg for at least five generations.
