DescriptionSculptural figure of a parrot with conical base. The bird decorated with incised lines to indicate feathers and the base with incised circles and triangles. The whole covered with splotches of brown and green and the base with vertical squiggly lines of brown. The body of the parrot is hollow in places to allow the bird to be used as a whistle in imitation of 18th and 19th century English pottery examples.Exhibition(s)
