DescriptionSmall cream or milk jug with pointed spout, grooved, loop handle and plain foot ring. Decorated in an underglaze blue enamel transfer printed design. Around the rim is a row of circles between two lines with a swaged blue line beneath. The main design is a Chinese-type with a bird on a rock and an Asian woman standing behind some baskets in the foreground, a man in a boat crossing water in the middle ground and a rocky island with trees, a house and some birds flying in the background. This design is often referred to as the "Fisherman" pattern.MarkingsNone
