DescriptionTypical stationary horizontal sundial composed of an engraved circular base and cast openwork gnomon secured by wedged tenons. Gnomon angled at 52 1/2 or 53 degrees, for use in the approxomate lattitude of Derby, Stoke-on-Trent, and Nottingham, England.
InscribedEngraved "W. Collier LONDON" below the cyphered ownership initials "ID."
