DescriptionPair of woman's short gloves of white kid leather printed with paired and single diagonal lines on the hand and fingers and a border of birds at the pinked and punched cuffs. On the inside of one glove is a diamond stamp and the maker's mark, "Felix Torruella Barcelona."Label TextOne of these gloves is stamped in ink on the interior “Felix Torruella Barcelona”. Gowns with long sleeves came into fashion in the 1780s, and short gloves were more appropriate for the new style than elbow-length mitts or gloves.
