DescriptionDocument box with wooden carcass, lined with plain paper and covered with gilt tooled leather. Slightly domed lid with two iron hooks on front for closure. Bottom is covered with marbled paper and top has brass fastening hooks. Stamped owner's armorial on inside of lid and centered in bottom. Armorial consists of a double wreath with crown at top around two sheilds, left one with three fleur-de-lis, right with geometric design, over two branches of leaves.MarkingsNone
