DescriptionAppearance: Slab-top sideboard table. Inset marble top within a mahogany frame on three sides with molded edge; wide skirt with bead at bottom edge; fluted straight legs, square in cross section with chamfered inner corner; pierced knee brackets.Construction: rails tenoned into legs and veneered on front and sides with applied bead nailed along edge of skirt; top molding nailed to top edges of skirt creates frame on top for marble; pierced brackets nailed to sides of legs and underside of skirt; medial rail in dovetail in top of front and rear rails; four vertical triangular (some rectangular possibly replaced) glue blocks in corners of each leg and rail joint; end battens with angled ends to correspond to corner glue blocks nailed across sides at top.
