DescriptionLadle intended to accompany tureen and cover (acc. no. 1993-179,1 A&B). Of warm white body with warm glaze. The ladle with slightly curved handle swelling at the terminal and fourishing in a shell to the underside of the round bowl. The tip of the handle with white reserve in mirror-shape; the bowl with central reserve echoing the shape of the tureen. The Gros Bleu (dark blue) ground with little wreathes of gilt dots. The reserves with ogee gilt borders. The center of the bowl decorated with dry puce garlands of flowers around a central purple flower, very much in the manner of Sevres.Inscribedno
