DescriptionOne of two side chairs; serpentine cresting rail, molded on upper edge; slightly shaped, stiles, molded on front and rounded at rear; broad, pierced and interlaced splat with Gothic arch at top and trefoil at base; flanked by molded C-scrolls; splat mortised into shoe with gadrooned upper edge; trapezoidal stuffed seat; front legs, square in cross section, flaring slightly to rear; legs braced by four, rectangular stretchers, one at each side, one medial and one at rear.
Markings"W. Huntsman" in rectangle below crown, stamped twice on rear seat rail of each chair.
