DescriptionPeg-tooth cross-cut saw with forged-iron handle tangs; tangs with forged outward bent "lips" to form blade stops (lips broken from tang with intact handle); blade riveted to tangs; surviving handle is turned with iron ferrule.
Label TextThis two-person saw was meant to quickly accomplish a few basic “across the grain” cuts. It could be used to fell a tree or it could be used to cut a large beam or log to the proper length.
