DescriptionThis pieced quilt block contains four printed cottons in a pattern known as "Odd Fellow's Patch", and sometimes called "Wild Geese in Flight." The center square is a black and white paisley print. The four diagonal strips radiating from the center square are rust brown striped triangles and have been pieced with triangles in a white cotton with black/brown dots. Four large triangles in a white and black/brown stripe separate the stripes and finish of the square.Label TextPiecing involves stitching small cuttings of fabric together to form a larger pattern. The pieced pattern in this quilt block is known as Odd Fellow's Patch, and sometimes called Wild Geese n Flight.
