Unusual large comma shapes in double side borders are coupled with representative forms of palm trees and fenced houses. Dots above house roofs may indicate rain. It is center seamed with self fringe at foot.
Label TextTypical of Victorian designs, this coverlet is crowded with patterns that include leafy floral medallions, deer within circular surrounds, palm trees, fenced houses, and comma shapes similar to those on paisley shawls.
