DescriptionCandlestick, one of a pair: circular bobeche with molded and beaded edge, circular fluted socket, short waisted turned section over wide molded shoulder at top of stem, down tapered fluted stem, terminating in circular moldings, circular spreading fluted foot with circular beaded moldings alternating with plain moldings to edge of base. Weight: 11-16. Engraved on edges of sockets.InscribedOwner's cypher engraved on each nozzle and base.
MarkingsScript T. C. on foot and bobeche. On outer rim of base, makers marks flueur-de-lis over I.W over W.T date letter g for 1782-83, leopards head crowned and lion passant.
