DescriptionBird cage with flat, rectangular base and three short straight sides with sliding drawer which pulls out with ring handle at rear for cleaning ; plain cornice above short sides from which rises and open wire and frame cage constructed in the form of a three story Georgian house complete with wooden string course; wide eaves supported by pierced, shaped brackets and a steep, pitched roof with a pair of dormers; twisted wire handle attached to top of cage; interior fitted with three moveable perches; door in middle of front side which hinges at left; painted all over with yellow paint grained with ochre with window trim in black - graining would appear to date from 1st quarter of the 19th century.MarkingsNone found
