DescriptionBottle: Green glass wine bottle molded with the word PATENT at the shoulder opposite the side with seal. Circular seal with "W. Lemar / Chard. / 1771." The underside molded with the company name "H. RICKETTS GLASS WORKS BRISTOL". Lip finished with a lipping tool. The bottle may be connected with William Bonville of Glangwili or William Bonville of Bryntowy in the parish of Llangunmor, near Carmarthen (Wales), elected mayor of Carmarthen in 1793, or his son, also William.
