DescriptionAn orchestral horn ca. 1820s by Courtois of Paris: 9 crooks, 2 mouthpieces, and original carrying case. The bell interior is painted red with gold decorative motifs of ferns, leaves, fruit baskets, and lyres. A period wallet with the horn contained several sheets of hand-written music.
