DescriptionPole screen in two parts, A is the pole and B is the needlework screen. Mahogany base with three legs supported on pad feet. Screen attaches to the pole with the use of two rings that slide over the pole. Inside the wooden screen frame is a needlework panel worked primarily in wool embellishment threads with some accents possibly worked in silk. The needlework is on a linen ground and depicts a variety of flowers in a two- handled vase that rests on a table. The flowers are against a blue or formerly green ground. On the reverse of the needlework panel is a panel of paper, possibly either wallpaper or a hand-painted scene.
