DescriptionBritish steel tweezers, tapering down from the fold to the points. Its flat top section is separated from the beveled points by a raised bolster decorated with filed lines and scallops. The interior surfaces of the extreme tips of the points are reduced to increase the gripping surfaces.Label TextFine tweezers like this pair were used by skilled tradesmen like gunsmiths and watch & clockmakers. The filed grooves, bevels and scallops on the exterior surfaces are purely decorative.
