DescriptionThe colorful, painted bentwood drum has typicial bold Erzgebirge paint color decoration. The rims are painted with blue, yellow, orange and green sections. The body of the drums is white with pennant shaped designs flowing down from the top and up from the bottom at intervals. These are painted blue and red. It features an applied, hand colored lithographed eagle with shield below "E Pluribus Unum" banner.ProvenancePreviously owned by The Old Salem Toy Museum. Bought at auction, November 2010 in New Hope, Pennsylvania.
