DescriptionTeaspoon excavated from the Geddy Site (DAR# 03155-19BB). Up-turned oval handle with double, molded drop on back of egg-shaped oval bowl.
Label TextJames Geddy II made use of the Virginia Gazette to advertise the many services provided by his shop. He imported jewelry and silver to be sold at the lowest rate, and he offered to assay and refine raw ore, repair watches, and buy old silver at the best rate to be made into new work.
MarkingsMarked on back of stem in relief in a rectangle: "I•G" in block letters. Note that mark is poorly struck.
