DescriptionFive-gallon alkaline-glazed stoneware storage jar or churn with slightly ovoid shape, tall everted neck, lug handles on either side of the body attached just below the neck and strong throwing rings visible. Iron inclusions in the clay create a strong visual effect of black dots of varying sizes over the entire surface.
