DescriptionBlack and white photograph of three children. The middle child (Adah Oberle) is seated on top of a tree stump and is flanked by her brother (Frank) to the viewer's right and her sister (Mary) to the left. The bottom margin gives the name of the photography studio in Germantown, Pennsylvania. On the reverse is a manuscript label stating the names of the children and the date of the photograph as 1889.
ProvenanceThe photograph descended through the family to the sitters' grandson/ great-nephew who was our donor.
