DescriptionAppearance: Blanket chest: flat, rectangular top with worn molded edge, hinged at rear with staples; straight sides and front; molded strips applied to front right (missing corresponding strip on front left) and bottom with two medial strips across face to simulate three horizontal drawers, two of which are false; full-length bottom drawer has pair of turned wooden pulls; no center board beneath drawer. Sides of chest are lapped over the front and back boards. The feet are doweled into the base. Covered with old and possibly original red paint.

Woods: The body of the chest is white pine, the feet are oak, and the rear board of the base is yellow pine.
