DescriptionTransferprinted tureen and cover of oval shape, molded rim slightly spreading. Bombe body divided into 4 large molded panels (at ends and two sides) separated by four small panels; spreading footring with molded wavy edge divided into sections as above. At each end a handle of two rope-twisted vine loops, twisted together but with separate terminals of flowers and leaves. Within each of the eight panels a different black transferprint: the 2 side panels, exotic birds in a landscape; the end panels, a bird on a branch; and in each small panel, a floral spray. On the interior bottom a repeat of one of the exotic birds in a landscape transfer prints found on a side panel. The cover of domed shape with wavy edge, and divided into eight panels like the tureen. Finial of a large and a small artichoke, the leaves formed by overlapping sections, projecting from a molded branch-and-leaf base. Each of the four large panels with a different black transferprint of an exotic bird on a branch.
