MediumBeaten copper joined with lead/tin solder. The feet are zinc alloy, and the ball/sphere is covered with a (nickel?) electroplate.

DescriptionCopper weathervane rooster standing on a copper ball. Head held high, and feet together. Sees to be made from two pieces of copper hammered out to create hollow body. Feathers very simply indicated. Two small bends or seams in either side of the body to give curve and take up slack in metal. Comb a sheet of copper. Tail very simply molded. Very smooth appearance. Ball totally round.
