DescriptionBreakfast table with two rectangular drop leaves; one drawer inset in one end with beaded edge, brass inset escutcheon, and bail handle; straight skirt with bead along lower edge; straight legs square in cross section with bead down three corners, back corner of leg chamfered below rail; X form cross stretchers rounded on top edges.ProvenanceAccording to Joseph Webb, son of Mrs. Blanche W. Webb, the table was known in the family as the Williamsburg table and seems likely that Joseph Prentis II brought it to Suffolk after his father's death in Williamsburg in 1809.
