DescriptionThis is a circular pincushion decorated with strands of red, green, and white embroidery silk coiled and wrapped in a spiderweb like manner. The sides are bound by a green silk ribbon. The same ribbon forms a long loop that is attached to the side of the pincushion. The pincushion contains several modern pins.
Label TextThis pincushion may have been worn from the waist of a woman's gown as part of her chatelaine.
