Label TextThe embroidered binding of this small book covers THE THIRD PART OF THE BIBLE, printed by Robert Barker, in London in 1614. The five Old Testament books included in the volume are Job, Psalms, Proverbs, Ecclesiastes, and Song of Solomon. The format of the cover design--a center oval with corner motifs--is similar to the layout of some larger schoolgirl embroidered pictures.
