DescriptionOval brooch with woven hair of grey with a few strands of brown; hair under beveled glass surrounded by seed pearls and gold border surrounded by 22 faceted stones each with 3 raised gold dots at scolloped edge of brooch.

ProvenanceLittleton Waller Tazewell lived from 1774-1860. Probable line of descent - Sarah Ann {Sallie} Tazewell or Mary Tazewell, great-aunt and great-grandmother, respectively of Thomas Marshall Wittemore, who sold brooch to CWF.
