DescriptionFigure representing America. Standing male figure wearing headband and loin cloth, each with applied feathers, holds bow in left hand and remains of tomahawk in right, right foot rests on a crocodile, irregular base and supporting tree trunk applied with floral sprigs.
MarkingsThough this piece does not bear a mark in the true sense of the word, it does have "patch marks" on the reverse of the base, which are characteristic of Derby of this period.
