DescriptionEnamel on copper alloy box in shape of a bird with bottom hinged at back to form lid with tension catch at front; box made of copper alloy covered inside and out with white enamel; lid and lip of box bound in narrow, ribbed brass molding; bird decorated in red, rose, brown, black and yellow and sits on green grass; lid of box decorated with rustic scene showing pair of same birds on a tree branch.
