DescriptionSpoon: narrow oval bowl with "rat-tail" on back, stem rounded above and flattened below, terminating in broad tapering "wavy-end." Initials over IM in block letters (owner's) on face of handle.
Label TextDavid W. Hall attributes pseudo hallmarks like those on this spoon to Ireland, but not to any particular maker.

InscribedOwners' initials "P/IM" stamped on face of handle.
MarkingsNo apparent touch mark. Secondary mark a quality "X" stamped on underside of handle. Pseudo hallmarks (1 and 3) thistle and (2 and 4) harp, all on underside of handle.
