DescriptionBust of Matthew Prior. Three-quarter view, with Prior looking to proper left. In a loose banyan and wearing a loosely wrapped turban or undress cap. On waisted socle, with spreading base with demi-lune front and stepped edge. The back molded concavely. The black body unglazed and with mold lines clearly evident.
