Globular bodied bottle with tall cylindrical neck, flared lip, and molded base. Bluish tin glaze decorated in blue with a European landscape including a shepherd, a shepherdess with sheep, and a memorial obelisk; two butterflies at top of neck.
Label:Insects such as these butterflies, rarely found on delft, are extremely common on porcelain of the mid eighteenth century. The London attribution is based on the shape and the decoration.
