DescriptionWoman's cap of white cotton woven in self-color windowpane check. Constructed of two pieces with crown gathered to front panel. Front edge trimmed with eyelet. Wide ties of matching material, 16 and 10" long.
Label TextThis cap has the ink signature of S. W. Miller on the inner band. Sarah Wistar Miller was a Quaker who lived in Media, Pennsylvania, near Philadelphia, from 1840 to 1909.
