DescriptionPlane of large rectangular shape with a top discharge, fence has been removed. The stout tote is offset to the right and sits in a mortise behind the throat secured with a nail. The top and side edges have wide flat chamfers that terminate with lamb’s tongue cuts. Fitted with a sharpened iron and a round-topped wedge. Forestock is pierced to receive a traverse stick, which has been secured in place, for pulling the plane while it is being pushed.MarkingsF*NICHOLSON / WRENTHAM
