DescriptionPlame of standard rectangular shape with a coved step on the discharge side. Top and side edges have narrow flat chamfers that terminate with gouge cuts on the step and lamb’s tongue cuts on the far side. Fitted with a wedge that has a flat-backed “D” shaped finial and simple single curve notch. The plane iron is missing, and the makers mark has been removed. A working life iron strike button has been added to the heel. The plane is attributed to Cesar Chelor based off the plane’s chamfer and wedge characteristics.ca. 1753-1784
