DescriptionPlane of standard rectangular shape with a snail shell shaped throat and recut sole. Top and side edges have narrow flat chamfers that terminate by turning out. Fitted with a sharpened iron (replaced) and wedge with a heavily relieved elliptical finial and simple single curve notch.Label TextThis tool was altered into a "cod" plane, used for cutting very deep, round-bottomed channels.
