DescriptionPlane of standard rectangular shape with a coved step on the discharge side and a working life slot cut along the sole for a strip of boxing, which is now missing. The top and side edges have narrow flat chamfers that terminate at the tow with gouge cuts on the step and lamb’s tongue cuts on the far side, while the heel chamfers have deteriorated. Fitted with a sharpened iron and wedge with a moderately relieved elliptical finial and a simple single curve notch.
