DescriptionSmall pair of silver knee buckles with diamond patterned border. Knee buckles are defined by their “T” back or fluke to fasten through a buttonhole at the garter of a pair of breeches in order to keep the men’s stockings from falling down. The tines of one of the chapes are broken and now missing.ca. 1770
