DescriptionThis is a large rectangular textile fragment of printed cotton in a design of standing pheasants in profile with palm trees, flowers in blue, reds, and cream on a dark-brown ground. The cotton has remnants of a glaze. There is a wide hem at bottom, machine hems on two long sides, and a cut edge on top. It is torn and hemmed in bottom left corner.ProvenanceEx coll.
